Canyon Springs High School is part of the Moreno Valley Unified School District and located in Moreno Valley, CA. The school was founded in 1987 and serves nearly 2,500 students, ranging from grades 9 to 12. Design West has completed the MEP design for multiple projects on campus, including new football stadium, and modernizations to the Administrative Building and Math and Science Building.
Most notably, Canyon Springs was the only high school in MVUSD that did not have its own stadium. Their athletic complex has undergone significant improvements over the past few years, and this 3,000-seat stadium enabled the school to host football and soccer games, along with track meets, band events, and commencement. We provided MEP design services for the new stadium, which included new bleachers for home and visitor side, along with support facilities consisting of; team rooms, spectator restrooms, field storage/concessions, new ticket booths, new sports lighting and planning for a future weight room and cheer/dance room. The design also called for reworking of the existing tennis courts, softball fields, and parking. Site lighting design was included for the parking lot and surrounding areas impacted by the construction, as well as the new access drive through the site. Overflow parking and pathway lighting work commenced in subsequent phases.
