TaILoRED SoLuTIoN The design and development teams decided early on to use an integrated project approach in order to deliver a highly coordinated project to the state. As a part of this collaborative effort, Design West utilized a number of inventive environmental solutions. Some of these include photocell technology that maximized daylight harvesting, a water source heat pump system to integrate with building aesthetics while achieving the highest efficiencies, and CO2 sensors with motorized dampers in the HVAC system. pRojEcT aDDED vaLuE Through the collaboration of integrated project approach, LEED Silver was successfully met. Beyond this, due to the well thought out design and the continuing active communication throughout construction, the LEED commissioners referred to this project as "the easiest project to commission" that they had ever come by. |
